Dr. Aastha Sachdeva is a Counseling Psychologist with over 12 years of experience in the domain of counseling and encouraging the adolescents and youth towards living fulfilled lives. Through her training in Clinical Psychology she has enabled her clients and students to make prolific independent decisions and become emotionally and psychologically strong individuals. Having completed her graduation in Psychology from Delhi University, her desire to pursue education in the domain of humanistic studies fortified. She was intrigued by the complexities of human nature and had the fond desire to develop an insight into the varieties of emotion, cognition and behaviors that humans exhibit. Hence she continued to pursue Masters in Clinical Psychology from Delhi University. Following that she completed the teacher’s training course and took to teaching Psychology soon after. She has been working with well reputed NGOs and educational institutions in Delhi-NCR for over 12 years now. In the meanwhile she also pursued research and completed the doctorate degree.
The discipline of Psychology has enabled her to provide intellectual insight into the potpourri of human emotions and thoughts through its theoretical framework. It has been her intrinsic passion to facilitate the inner calling of her clients through training that has kept her motivated to continue in the profession. She has been recognized by her students for keeping the flame of joyful learning and living alive in them.
Having dealt with variety of student concerns ranging from academic, behavioral, cognitive and psycho-social issues; she has conducted trainings and workshops for soft skills development of students, their parents as well as teachers.
Dr.Aastha provides specialized psychotherapy and counselling services online (Audio/Video/Chat) addressing issues related to adolescence and child development, acceptance/family issues, early substance use recovery, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, conflicts among family members, counselling for career planning and the like.
